Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

We provide mobile concrete pump hire across the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, North Wales and surrounding regions, with daily operational coverage typically within a 3-hour radius of our Wigan depot (WN2 5XP).

Alongside our regional fleet operations, our larger boom pumps, including the 56m, are available to support projects nationwide depending on programme and project requirements.

Yes. A suitable washout area or designated wash-off location must be available on site following completion of the pour. Concrete pumps arrive empty and require a full washout process after pumping operations have finished, including discharge of residual concrete remaining within the pump hopper and pipeline system.

If required, our team can provide guidance prior to hire to help ensure suitable arrangements are in place before the pump arrives on site. The provision of a suitable washout area remains the responsibility of the hirer/site.

Concrete pumps require suitable ground conditions and adequate bearing capacity to safely support the machine and outrigger loads during operation. If there are any concerns regarding access, ground conditions or setup area, please contact our team prior to the hire.

We work across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. From extensions and house builds to larger contractor-led developments, we provide reliable concrete pumping services tailored to the demands of each project.

The most suitable concrete pump will depend on site access, available setup space, outrigger deployment requirements, overhead restrictions and the boom reach required. In some cases, additional pipeline may also be required where a pump cannot be positioned close to the pour location.

Our fleet data sheets available on the Fleet page can help provide guidance on boom reach, setup space and operational requirements. If you are unsure which pump is most suitable, we can also arrange a site visit to assess the project requirements and recommend the best solution.

Yes. Our operators hold the relevant industry-recognised competency cards, qualifications and Safety Critical Medical certification required to operate concrete pumps safely and professionally on site. We remain committed to maintaining high standards of training, competence and site compliance across our fleet operations.
